What Donors Ask

  • To enrich the lives and wellbeing of children, Infant to Pre-K, and to serve parents by offering affordable childcare to families in the Port Jefferson Community. Through warm, nurturing and stimulating engagement, we provide individualized attention in a safe, secure and heartfelt manner.

  • To serve 45 children through our Infant, Toddler and P-K Programs by providing creative and active learning, social skill development and age-appropriate curriculum for school readiness.

  • Through clarity and commitment from our staff, teachers and board members.

  • Flexible scheduling, affordable pricing, outstanding reputation and dedication to the local children we have been serving for over 30 years.

  • 92% of your donation goes to programming versus overhead.

  • Having emerged from the difficult setbacks of covid, we have increased our marketing and community outreach to stimulate enrollment thanks to our Google Advertising Grand and donation of a new website.

  • We keep detailed records of the number of children we serve each year.  We also know the positive ripple effect we have on the child extends beyond just the child, to their siblings and parents.  The average family size in Suffolk County is 2.96, therefore our impact is closer to 135 people when we are at full capacity.

  • Our number one challenge is increasing enrollment due to the local school districty offering free pre-k. Luckily we are one of the few daycares that offer infant care and the flexibility of not having to enroll their child full-time.

  • At Noah’s Ark we ensure the proper teacher to child ratios and our Daycare Center is maintained with the highest cleanliness and organizational standards possible.

  • First, they can spread the word about Noah’s Ark to their family, friends, and coworkers in the Port Jefferson Community, in order to help us increase enrollment.  Secondly, they can support us by simply participating in the Spark Good Walmart Program by connecting their Walmart ONLINE account (Walmart.com OR Walmart App) to the Walmart Spark Good Program HERE (add in link) and Noah’s Ark Day Care of Port Jefferson will automatically receive their ‘change’ as transactions are round-up to the nearest dollar.
